摘要：文学作品英语翻译是一种将汉语文化转化为英语文化的跨文化交际活动,在这种翻译活动中不可避免地会因中西方文化差异,影响文学作品英语翻译的质量及效果。所以在文学作品英语翻译中应当树立跨文化翻译意识,从跨文化交际视角化解语言文化差异,以意义补偿的方式化解民族文化差异。
English translation of chinese literary works is an intercultural communication activity that transforms Chinese culture into English culture. In this translation, there will inevitably be a problem of cultural differences between China and the West, which affects quality and effectiveness of translation. Therefore, cross-cultural translation consciousness should be established to help resolve the problem by means of form compensation and meaning compensation.
