摘要：五年制学生大学英语课堂沉默是五年制英语课堂教学中的一种普遍现象。本文通过学生问卷调查、课堂观察、和学生访谈等方法,对沉默的原因进行研究分析,总结了造成五年制学生大学英语课堂沉默的原因,进而提出了相应改进的策略。
Student's silence is a common phenomenon in the EFL classroom context. Through the methods of classroom observation,interview and questionnaire, this paper explores the reasons for classroom silence and then proposes and some suggestions from both the students’ and the teachers’aspects.
