摘要：《诗经》中的《大雅》与《小雅》,既是当时广为传诵的文学作品,又是可以被之管弦的乐歌。从音乐和文学的角度来看,《大雅》与《小雅》都有各自的实用功能。《大雅》用于大飨,是周王举行一些仪式时使用的各种乐歌,同时作为乐教范本,被较多地征引;《小雅》主要是贵族举行仪式时使用的乐歌,不但被广泛地征引,同时也在各种场合被人们赋诵。
Greater Odes and Lesser Odes in “The Books of Songs” are both the popular literary works and the songs and music played with musical instruments at that time. Greater Odes and Lesser Odes have their own practical functions respectively. Greater Odes are played and sung when the kings of Zhou Dynasty hold grand ceremonies and frequently quoted in music textbooks. Lesser Odes are usually used in ceremonial accessions of nobles and are quoted and recited by the common people in other occasions.
