摘要:采用传统的固相烧结法制备了La掺杂的Y_3Fe_5O_(12)系列陶瓷样品。详细研究了La掺杂对肯磁性和磁介电性能的影响.研究结果表明:随着La掺杂量的增加,饱和磁化强度和本征磁介电效应先增加后减小,归因于Fe^(2+)离子含量的非单调变化.分析认为,具有较大离子半径的La^(3+)对Y^(2+)替代导致Y_3 Fe_5 O_(12)晶格扩张和可能的离子移位,这两个因素的竞争作用引起Fe^(2+)含量随La含量的增加先增加后减小.Fe^(2+)离子含量的非单调变化导致饱和磁化强度和磁介电效应的相应变化趋势,并在La含量为0.3时同时获得了大的饱和磁化强度和磁介电效应,在10~6Hz和0.9 T条件下的室温磁介电系数达-5%.
A series of La doped Y_3 Fe_5O_(12) ceramics are prepared by the solid state reaction method and the effect of La substitution magnetic and magnetodielectric properties of YIG are investigated systematically.It is found that saturation magnetization and the intrinsic magnetodielectric effect first increase and then decrease with increasing of La concentration,which originate from the nonmonotonic variation of Fe^(2+) content.With the increase of La concentration,first increase and then decrease Fe^(2+) content are observed and considered to be originated from the competition effect between lattice expansion and ion transposition due to larger radius La^(3+) substitution.As a result,both the saturation magnetization and the intrinsic magnetodielectric coefficient have a corresponding tendency.Moreover,large room temperature saturation magnetization and magnetodielectric coefficient was achieved for x=0.3,and the magnetodielectric coefficient of about-5%at 10~6 Hz and 0.9 T.
