摘要:The nanostructured glass ceramics (GCs) have been prepared by conventional melt-quenching method and chosen as the host for for the Ce3+-Nd3+couple to acquire the high efficiency quantum cutting (QC). The near-infrared (NIR)QC was achieved in Ce3+-Nd3+co-doped GCs by a possible cooperative energy transfer (CET) process, which involved down-conversion of an absorbed visible photon to two emitted NIR photons. The photoluminescence properties of samples with different Nd3+concentrations in the visible and NIR regions were investigated to confirm the ETfrom Ce3+to Nd3+. The decay lifetimes of different samples were measured to calculate the energy transfer efficiency (ETE) of Ce3+and quantum yield (QY)between Ce3+andNd3+, and the maximal values were as high as 80.3 and 160.6%, respectively.
