摘要：应城膏雕发端于鄂中地区,是应城几代民间艺人智慧的结晶。其工艺品设计新颖,既有民族特色,又有玉雕的艺术风格,堪称艺苑奇葩。文章从它的产生缘由、特点、基本形态、发展、保护现状对其进行介绍,以期引起学界的更多关注。
The technique of Yingeheng Plaster Sculpture originated from the middle of Hubei. It is the result of several generations＇ hard work. The technique is characterized with national uniqueness and jade sculpture style. The paper focuses on its birth, characters, fundamental state development and current protection so as to arouse more academic attention.
