摘要：地方本科院校在探索专业发展和人才培养模式的过程中,应准确把握社会需求,注重英语的工具性和人文性,走差异化发展之路,并注重提高英语专业的师资水平,从而使地方本科院校英语专业毕业生在就业中更具有优势和竞争力,进而促进地方本科院校自身的可持续发展。
In the process of exploring the major development and the personnel training model, the local universities should accurately grasp the social needs, focus on the property of tool and humanity, take a path of differentiated development, and stress improving the level of English teachers, so that the English graduates of local universities have the advantage and competitiveness in the employment, and then promote the sustainable development of the local uni- versities themselves.
