摘要：Multimedia has been widely accepted and used in most of the teaching courses and it is scientific, advanced and helpful for teaching methods promotion. With the further development of computer science and the web, it will be one of the most important factors for the reform of teaching. However, something difficult during the course may exist. This essay will focus on some potential problems about it according to the teaching methods of business English. In the recent years, multi-media technology immensely has promoted the development of most fields, and has been applied in the teaching as well. CAI integrating the audio, image and animations differ with the traditional teaching methods, so it can further meet the need of informatization, digitization and networking. The innovation in the teaching contents and methods help achieve the educational objectives better. Otherwise, we should use the new technology properly in spite of its scientificity and advancement. Based on the features of business English teaching, the author takes the teaching practice for example and connects the characteristics of multimedia teaching to discuss the potential problems and make suggestions in the application of multimedia to the teaching.
