摘要：全球化和中原崛起的战略使河南地方本科院校面临新的机遇和挑战。这些地方院校原有的教育模式已无法满足新时代的要求。河南地方本科院校必须积极有效地探索适合自身发展的外语专业人才培养模式。
Globalization and the rise of ZhongYuan area bring the local universities in Henan province new opportunities as well as challenges. The old educational model,of these universities can＇t meet the need of new age. The local universities in Henan must explore the cultivation model of English Major Talents that suit themselves actively and effectively.
