The paper explores the internal relationship between the modem villa design and the traditional culture in China, illustrates the social factors and the historical evolution tendency of the arise of the modem villa buildings, analyzes the development relationship between the traditional culture and the villa buildings in China and their design application, and emphasizes on the future villa design in China will have the national features and the regional cultural features.
