It is inevitable to improve the management of university libraries, as it is an inportant part of a university . Knowlege management is notonly a hign-level management mode and idea, but also the core of knowledge-based economy. It offers an overall and reallistic framework for management modernization. The transformation from information management to knowledge management is the inevitable requirement of university modernization, and it is the only way for realizing the sustainable development of university libraries.
