摘要：《一朵浮云》是詹姆斯.乔伊斯的短篇小说集《都柏林人》中成年篇的第一篇,故事围绕小钱德勒与踌躇满志的老朋友的一次会面,反映他的精神瘫痪与顿悟。运用象征、反讽艺术与意识流手法揭示故事的瘫痪主题、剖析主人公的心路历程。
A Little Cloud is one of the short stories in the Dubliners, it is the first story in the adult group of stories. The story centers the meeting between Litter Chandler and his old friend Gallaher who is quite successful now, and reflects Chandler＇ s paralysis and epiphany. This paper analyzes the revelation of symbolism, satire art and stream of consciousness in the story, and throws light on the paralysis theme of the story.
