摘要：《珍妮姑娘》是20世纪美国最杰出的现实主义作家西奥多.德莱塞的代表作,曾被评论家誉为美国最优秀的小说之一。文章试图以弗洛伊德精神分析理论为视角,通过对珍妮人格结构、自我防御机制的分析,阐述主人公的悲剧并非完全是外界环境所致,其根本原因在于珍妮的个人选择。
Jennie Gerhardt is the celebrated work of Theodore Dreiser,one of the most distinguished American novelists of the twentieth century.It is one of the most outstanding novels in America.From the perspective of Freudian psychoanalysis,to analyze the heroine s personality structure and self-defense mechanism,the writer finds it is not the outer environment but the choice of the heroine that leads to her terrible life.
