摘要：《杀死一只知更鸟》是美国作家哈帕·李创作的一部典型的成长小说。文章主要从主人公的性格特征、社会环境、引路人的影响等三个方面探讨主人公斯各特从天真到成熟的成长历程。性格特征是她成长的基础,社会环境对其成长起到了催化剂的作用,引路人对其成长起到了引领的作用。
To Kill a Mockingbird is a typical initiation story written by the American writer Harper Lee .It evolves a-round the Finch family in Maycomb County and takes a girl named Scout as its narrator and protagonist ,telling what she and her elder brother witness and experience all the way through .As the story develops , Scout grows up both physically and psychologically .The paper will explore how the protagonist Scout changes from innocence to maturity mainly from three aspects .Her personality plays a fundamental role ,social surroundings serve as a catalytic agent and several mentors exert indelible influence on her growth as well .
