摘要:Metal sulfides are popular in energy storage system for unique advantages, including high theoretical capacity and readily available raw materials. However, there are some obstacles to overcome before application in potassium ion batteries (PIBs). Huge changes in volume during insertion/extraction of K+, which will cause the structure destruction of the electrode and lead to rapid decay of capacity. In addition, due to the poor electrical conductivity of Fe1-xS, the rate performance is always poor. Herein, Fe1-xS/ S-doped carbon nanosheets (Fe1-xS/SC) were synthesized. When applied Fe1-xS/SC as anode for PIBs, it exhibits excellent electrochemical performance: a reversible capacity of 430 mAh g(-1) can be maintained at 50 mA g(-1) after 300 cycles, a super rate performance of 255 and 170 mAh g(-1) at 1000 and 2000 mA g(-1) can be observed.
