摘要：以"本·拉登被击毙"的新闻报道为例,从语相、词汇、语/句法、语义4个微观层面分析英语新闻的文体特征:英语新闻具有图文并貌、字体变换、标点妙用的语相特征,具有用词短小精悍、频用缩略词、临时造词、多用阿拉伯数字的词汇特征,在句法上呈现出多用陈述句、较多的单句成段、句式多变等特征,语义特征表现为标题精炼生动、导语精悍富含信息、正文为"倒金字塔型"。英语新闻的这些文体学特征充分体现了英语新闻语言的生动性、客观性和简洁性。
Based on the English report of ＂Bin Laden killed＂,the stylistic features of English news is analyzed in four micro levels： graphological,lexical,syntactical/grammatical and semantic features.The analysis shows that English news has the following stylistic features： excellent combination of pictures and texts,skillful variation in typefaces and magical effect of punctuations at the graphological level;frequent application of short powerful words,abbreviations,nonce words and Arabic figures at the lexical level;common usage of declarative sentences as the main sentence type,paragraphs in the form of single sentence and variable sentential forms at the syntactic level;outstanding features of laconic and eye-catching headline, succinct but informative lead and the pyramid-formed body at the semantic level.And the stylistic features mentioned above fully demonstrate the vivid,objective and concise language in English news.
